Frequently Asked Questions

How can I get to the course if I'm staying at the Talamore Villas?

Talamore is providing a shuttle to the course every 30 minutes, starting from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m.

Upon arrival, you will receive a map of the Villas which clearly indicates the shuttle will pick up and drop off spot.

When will I receive my ticket(s)? How will I access my ticket(s) and can I share them?

Tickets will be sent to guests a week prior to the Championship start date. Tickets will be digital and will be scanned on your phone to allow access to the grounds and the hospitality suite on the day of the specified ticket. You will receive an email after being sent your ticket(s), along with “next steps” instructions. You will have to download the USGA or AXS app and create an account using the same email address you received your tickets through. You will not be able to print tickets. All ticket holders will need to have their tickets open in the USGA or AXS app when entering the Championship.

What should I wear?

The US Open does not have a dress code, but spectators are expected to follow the club's norms, which include casual golfing attire. This means that collared shirts and well-kept pants or shorts with a belt are acceptable, but denim, open-toe shoes, or sandals are not.

What will the weather be

like in June?

Average June temperatures around Pinehurst Resort & Country Club range from highs of 86°F to lows of 68°F. Hats, cool clothing and sunscreen are recommended on bright, sunny days.

Can I take pictures and

videos of the players?

Fans are encouraged to capture their favorite moments while onsite. The USGA provided a set of guidelines on mobile device usage to ensure the players and other fans are not distracted or disrupted during the championship.

  • Fans may carry mobile devices smaller than 7” in length and/or height.

  • Device volume controls must be set to “silent” or “vibrate” and flash photography must be disabled.

  • Phone calls should be limited to areas away from play and not in any area that may disrupt play, including grandstands.

  • Photography, video, and audio recording are permitted throughout the course, but content must not be used for commercial purposes.

  • Live streaming or shot-by-shot coverage of any player (with or without video) is not permitted at any time throughout championship week.

  • All posted signage and instructions from championship staff and volunteers must be observed.
